Maybe the computer is not completely off, maybe this is called hibernate or standby or something. Is this a good thing to do or should I just let my computer run? I am planning to buy a new Desktop and being based in New Delhi want to know as to what should I choose between Widescreen LCD Computer Monitor OR Widescreen LCD TV (PC Compatible).

If I choose LCD Computer Monitor, would be I able to get wide screen TV signal as I also wish to install TV tuner card /DVD/Graphics Card also.
Thanks for answering back………but I would also want to know as to how I should save the TV signal (16:9) If I buy a LCD Monitor………as a vendor told me that I will only get to watch the cable signal 16:9 but can not save the same signal on a particular channel….and that shifting of channels will require adjustment of 16:9 again and again…….
